The ditsy cloth, in my opinion, is a must-have item for any makeup wearer who is trying to be more sustainable or plastic-free! Even those who aren't particularly concerned about the sustainability of their skincare or makeup routine should get this product because it is so useful. The ditsy cloth is a reusable makeup remover cloth that you don't to use any product with. You simply put the cloth under warm water then use it as if it were a flannel and it removes makeup with ease.
I first came across the ditsy cloth over 2 years ago now. When I saw it online, I was doubtful that it would work. I watched a PR video on youtube, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing, but it really does work. I purchased the cloth in the pink colour, and 2 years on it still works perfectly. I can use it roughly 3 or 4 times (2-4 faces of makeup removed) before I just pop it in the wash with my clothes, and then it is ready to use again once dry. I use this as a first step in my skincare routine after wearing makeup before following up with a cleanser and the rest of my skincare routine. This product saves you on cotton pads and makeup remover both in terms of plastic use and money. 2 years ago, I spent £12.50 on the ditsy cloth and I've never had to purchase makeup remover or cotton pads since.
Dearest Fannie are a really sustainable and exciting small business with strong ethics. Do check out their other products too whether or not you plan on buying the ditsy cloth (but I do 100% recommend purchasing the cloth). Dearest Fannie have a passion for art, they are a responsible, inclusive employer, they are a vegan business owned by female vegans and their fashion is sustainable. I have purchased so many of my friends and family the ditsy cloth as a present along with other fun stuff that is on the website such as tote bags and reusable iridescent metal straws.
Without a doubt, the Dearest Fannie ditsy cloth, and Dearest Fannie as a business gets 5/5 stars from me. If you do choose to buy the ditsy cloth as part of your own journey toward sustainability or anything else from the Dearest Fannie website, I hope you love them as much as I do.
If anyone knows of any other makeup remover cloth brands that I can try and review, please do message me them on Instagram!
